Hello everyone,

I just wanted to give an introduction to my garden and myself. My name is Brian and along with my sister we built this 3 tier patio and Japanese garden. Overall the project took one year to complete from start to finish with the total build time being from May to September and then a break until the next May when we finished up. So the actual build time was 6 months. It was certainly an expensive and long build but the end result was completely worth it. The garden has 2 entrances: one in the back yard and one in the front by the side of the house. We finished it almost two years ago and now I'm just enjoying watching the plants and trees grow and mature. If only I could shoot every deer in my yard lol.

Anyway hope you enjoy!

Below are some pictures as well as a link to an entire album which shows some progress shots as well.  Most of these pics were taken in the spring after we completed the project. So really the first year that everything was finished and coming up for spring but nothing had really flowered yet. A lot of the plants have grown and matured since then and look much better. The only thing that has changed since these pictures were taken is the entrance by the gate on the outside of the garden. Last year I redesigned my front yard so the entrance has changed slightly. Hope the pics are good!

Wow!  I'm impressed.  Anyone who can get a vision and bring it to fruition that quickly impresses me.  It took years for me to slowly progress and realize I had the makings of a Japanese garden on the deck side of the yard.  It always takes me placing one new feature at a time, then progressing from there.  Good job!

May you always be content with yourself!
