Please note: No trams, free hours or early morning walking hours on signature event weekends. Garden doors open at 9 a.m. however, the festival does not start until 10 a.m.

Description

Celebrating the history, culture, and people of Japan, the Japanese Festival at the Missouri Botanical Garden is one of the largest and oldest festivals of its kind in the United States, presenting taiko drumming, bon odori festival dancing, martial arts, candlelight walks in the Japanese Garden and more. Please note: No trams, free hours or early morning walking hours on signature event weekends. Regular admission rates to the Children’s Garden apply.

Aug. 30 and 31; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Sept. 1 (Labor Day), 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Doors open at 9 a.m. $15 adults (ages 13 and over), $5 children (3 to 12), $5 members.

I really enjoyed the video and Ben's narrative.  If you have a chance to visit the Missouri Botanical Garden it will not disappoint.  I was fortunate enough to enjoy its many hidden treasures.
