Well to start off i been looking on this site for about 3-4 months off and on. Found it had some good info so i desided to join now. Been working on a firepit/patio witch ive been working on now  and built a japanese style fence about 3 years ago. Been going back and fort tweaking the design to get the effect i want but lookingto get some more knowledge and read up some more...Always a work in progress ;D

still working on the wood work for the lantern

My patio i'm doing now fence will be Kinkakuji gaki. I'm going to buy the book"building bamboo fences" but can anyone let me know what the proper knot to tie before i get the book to my house. i'll be at a standstill for about 2 weeks if i dont find out ...Sorry for the wide cam. wife has the camera out of town so all i have is my gopro cam

Also you can see im"m letting some bamboo dry out

rest of pics are on photobucket  http://s34.photobucket.com/albums/d105/ol_skool87/landscaping/

Welcome to the Forum!
I liked your work, especially the fence and the gate. Could you post a better picture of the gate? I'm in the middle of installing a similar looking gate, I would like to compare the design.  ASAP!
