I've been studying and trying to create my own personal Japanese garden.  I'm here to learn and enjoy.

Welcome Jason,  nice to have a blog so we can see what you are up to!  How was the Houston Japanese Garden, I am in Galveston often and will have to check it out.

It's nice, at least in my opinion.  However, it has limited borrowed scenery since much of the background that's visible are buildings.  What I like is that they use plants and trees that grow well in our unique climate.  A perfect example is the Crepe Myrtle.

Thanks Don.  As you know, it's been raining here in Houston. We are actually above normal.
